He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the prestigious Dr. MGR University in Chennai and enhanced his expertise through the Smartlabs program at New Delhi, where he acquired profound knowledge in computational design and digital fabrication. Additionally, he serves as a visiting faculty member at top institutions, making significant contributions to the architecture student community.

With a strong foundation in advanced architectural technologies, Afrid collaborates with leading firms to create parametric structures for high-profile projects, including airports and major public buildings. He is currently at the forefront of integrating Artificial Intelligence with computational and BIM software, conducting pioneering research in this dynamic field.
